La Place de l’Etoile

juillet 2011 ©Airdiasol_Rothan_DSC_7939

The name of “Star Place” is derived from the name of the inn located here. The canal of the mills used to flow across this place that also served for the calibration of barrels wherefrom the name of “Sinnplatz” it used to bear. The number of mills driven and powered by the Ehn River or the canal changed in the course of time.
